We are moving on Thursday, closing on Friday… packing packing packing and getting rid of lots of things…So, we accumulated lots of garbage bags full of trash…Our trash pick up date is Monday, and new owners (understandably) don't want to deal with our garbage…..

So, what can i do with it? Is there any place where i can take my trash to throw away?

thanks!

There are trash companies that will dispose of it for you. JC Timmerman is one I recommend for such jobs around here. You'd have to see if they would come to Belmont. Even if they don't, they might know someone out that way. You might also try 1-800-GOT-JUNK.

If all else fails you can pay 1-800-JUNK to take it away.

3 things you can do:

1) the free and legal option is take it to a neighbor's house and ask if they can get rid of it for you. you can even offer some money if you aren't that friendly with your neighbors

2) the free and illegal option is to take it to any commercial lot at night and dump them in the dumpster. a stripmall, a school or the town library would work.

3) this is the method i used: go to Junk Removal | Hauling 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Trash Waste Garbage Rubbish Removal and schedule a pickup online. it was a little over $100 for a few bags of trash.

Look up transfer stations. There is one in Winchester. I thought there was one on Rte 225 between Lexington and Concord, but it might be closed.

Usually, you have to be a resident to use them.

I'd ask a neighbor to help.

Take all of your trash, pack it all into a red VW microbus together with shovels and rakes and implements of destruction and drive out of town past the dump to a side road, and off the side of the side road there will be a 15 foot cliff, at the bottom of which will be another half a ton of garbage. One big pile is better than two little ones, and rather than bring that one up you should throw yours down.

There may be consequences....
