I just wouldn't be comfortable going to a coffee shop where the owner expected better sales by catering to lecherous older men staring at young girls.

Have you ever been to Marylou's (or even Massachusetts), "Seattle Boy"?

Never been to Mary Lou's myself, and I am a native. Never will. It's creepy. But you don't need to be a local to be creeped out by adult men ogling underage girls.

I grew up here, I've never been to Seattle, and *I* just wouldn't be comfortable going to a coffee shop where the owner expected better sales by catering to lecherous older men staring at young girls (hence original post). Reading up on the company I found it interesting that this marketing technique was Marylou's ex-husband's idea...hmmm...

Is Marylou's basically the Hooters of coffee?

Yes thank God. It's the bright spot of my day.

What are you talking about? Have you seen this in person, or have you...

Please don't say damaging stuff like that without being able to back it up.

The company. I mean, it's like people are calling him/the business (and it's customers, many of whom are teens themselves) a chauvinistic creep. It's totally baseless, and absurd...

I would patronize them more often if one was more convenient (good coffee but also to throw it in the face of the PC Nazis). The rest of you can eat that DD riff raff.

To each his own. I am creeped out you are not. The Seattle poster also has a right to his opinion. Such is life in America, everyone's opinion is valid.

OK, but I really expect you to explain what you are talking about if you feel so strongly...

I don't go around calling random people creeps just because I disagree with a business model. I mean you yourself admit that you have never been to one!
