Hi,

I will be starting a job in Brighton while my spouse would work in Burlington. We are looking to rent a 2 Bed apartment/condo/townhouse with a budget around $2-2.5K per month. We will need parking for 2 cars, while at the same time would like a walkable neighborhood with restaurants & grocery stores nearby. Reducing commute times for both are a priority. Currently, we are looking at Arlington, Belmont, Watertown, Waltham and Newton locations.

Any suggestions on which of these would be best for a young couple? Any place that we need to add to the list? Would commuting north via I-95 to Burlington from these places be relatively smooth?

Hmmn, I'm thinking the Huron Village area of Cambridge / Fresh Pond region of Belmont... "easy" access to Route 2 to 95 north. Yes, that is a jam but doable and also going out the back way toward Mt. Auburn means pretty easy access to Brighton too. Just a thought.

Thanks, that is a great suggestion. We will look for any available places in that area.

Watertown and Waltham will fit the bill.
