A good idea but has been rejected and shot down already.

Rejected and shot down already.

He even has the direct link to the Lowell MA career center which is the city in which he lives.

Maybe try another location?

I'm of the thought if one is at the "bottom of the barrel, to then find another barrel".

Everyone would prefer to do it on their own and need no help, but common sense should trump pride. If one is able to get help as he is, he should be focusing on those avenues not repeating the same behaviors (chasing minimum wage jobs) over and over again that have gotten him no where. He previously had a counselor or whatever at the state he didn't like, but that doesn't mean everyone is like that. Also if one gets in touch with an Asperger's support group they may have some ideas and contacts and be able to help him secure additional help from the state or other sources. But I'm repeating myself as this was mentioned in the past thread.

From looking at I don't think it really has to do much with his intelligence. I think (can't diagnosis) it much more having to do with a behavioral/emotional issues. Which is quite typical of autism spectrum. If I'm right. This is going to be a HUGE problem for him in finding and/or keeping a job. He going to have to be placed, protected, and supported by the state or any type of organization that help people with his type of disability. Again. I very much doubt he going to find something on his own.

Disinfo! Disinfo! I tried Stop&Shop. NOT a rejected idea. I tried.

I went for an interview at Stop&Shop in December 2013. The manager seemed to like me and asked me what position I wanted, and told me they would be calling me in a few days to let me know what's happening next, I was supposed to meet with another manager to do paperwork. A week or 2 passed and I heard nothing. I called them up, and I was told they hired some other people but I would be 'kept in mind'.

I thought I already told you this in another thread massnative71.

One stop and shop and done?

I feel a bit bad. I didn't know his disability was so extreme. I just thought he was another whiner, but if this is a serious medical / cognitive issue then yeah, he'll need support help from a group of agency to succeed.

We don't know if it's extreme. All we know is that he's applied for several minimum wage jobs mostly it seems at retail stores near public transportation. We don't know how he appears nor how he conducts himself at interviews.
