If I google map Hudson, MA and pick commuter options into the City, it appears there is a bus? Am I reading this right?

What would the commute into say, Back Bay be from Hudson MA?

I am pretty sure that commute from Hudson to Boston on a daily basis by bus is not type of commute you would want long term. Stick to commuter rail or subway. Buses in close by metro areas can make sense, but not that far out of the city. Complete waste of time.

On the MWRTA it looks like Marlborough would be the closest bus stop from Hudson. You're looking at 15 min drive to Marlborough, 1 hour to the Framingham commuter rail on the bus, another 45 min to Back Bay on the train, then walk to your office. That's going to be 2+ hours each way.

When I lived in Hudson my neighbor actually drove into Children's Hospital everyday and it took him under 1 hour, but he was at work by 5AM

meeps: If you are looking to get from Hudson to Boston during regular commuting times, there is no good way. You're looking at about 1.5 to 1.75 hours each way on average even if you drive the whole way and have garage parking under your building.

^This. Keep in mind no area of Hudson is adjacent to the Pike.
