Hello! Does any one take the train out of the Southborough or Ashland stops and have any pros/cons to each? I'm looking at properties in Southborough and Holliston and will be commuting to south station. Besides house proximity to the actual stations, I was wondering if one was significantly better or worse than the other. At this point, I've only driven by. They seem about the same.

Thanks!

Ashland has almost twice as many parking spots. They're both in the middle of nowhere. Ashland is obviously closer, so less time on the train.

I live in Ashland but go to the Framingham station. It's a zone cheaper and I can get coffee close by.

Really, I drove through Framingham and past the train station. The area seemed like kind of a ****hole. If I end up choosing the Holliston house Framingham is pretty much the same distance. Is parking difficult in Framingham? One board I read said that it can be tough if not there before 7.

Yeah, Framingham, at least around the train station, is a bit dumpy. But it's zone 5, not zone 6, so you can save a couple of bucks on the pass. I live on the Ashland/Holliston line and you can get to the Framingham stop in 10 minutes if you know shortcuts and avoid 126.

Framingham has very limited parking compared to the other two stations you mentioned, but I don't park; my wife usually drops me off.
