Just my 2 cents...

For high school, MCAS is a 10th grade test. If you cannot pass a 10th grade test by 12th grade and you don't realized how far behind you are, there is something wrong (teachers, students, and parents.) I really don't think MCAS test will tell you much you do not already know...

Btw... there is an entire industry up just to create practice MCAS books, study guides, tuitoring, ... Just visit Amazon... and do a MCAS search.

Wink upcoming MCAS Prep Site with real MCAS questions

My friend and I are in the middle of creating a free MCAS prep site with actual MCAS items. It is a work in progress but please take a look:

My daughter's school uses a computer program called Study Island and it is a very comprehensive MCAS preparation. She is only in 3rd grade but I believe they have this preparation for every test grade. The schools buy the computer software and the student gets a login and can practice at home and in school. They started it in November and every week they do 3 x 20 min just like homework. By March or so they worked through all the subjects and are pretty well prepared. Of course they also learn through the process. The teacher can see the individual progress and results.
