I will give Hillary my vote because of 2 reasons:

1) Her experience and time in the White House.
2) Barack's inexperience in International relations.

I'll back that up with saying that I will vote for whichever Democrat gets the nod, but I do feel that in today's climate, the next President is going to have to diffuse the Middle East mess. Obama will reach great places in his career and I do like him- but I think it will be in years to come- not now.

One slight negative for Obama is that he seems to also have some sort of shifty excuse during the debates when negative points/votes come up against him. The last debate in NH was classic- he downright changed the subject more than once and gave an excuse for how he has voted in the past. Not that I do not trust him, but I think that is an example of inexperienced responses to being under political fire.

I'm a Barack girl!!! This is the first politician in my lifetime I've felt passionate about. I've always cynically thought I'd never experience that. I was tearing up listening to him. We need someone to bring the country together, who has the ability to draw in people, not just here in the U.S. but leaders in other countries. I just think Clinton isn't really a great people person and Barack seems very thoughtful, intelligent, and charming.

And sadly, I am really disappointed in the way the Clintons have been behaving with all that sniping. The whole "win at all costs" approach seems bad for the party and bad for the country. If her political sense is this far off the mark now, what happens in the general election. Plus I really worry that if she gets the nomination we'll have the same thing that happened in Massachusetts: Romney winning over the Democratic candidate not because people want him but because he's running against an unlikeable woman like he did against Shannon O'Brien in the governor's race. Of course I hope Romney's not the Republican nominee but yikes, if he is and he goes up against Hillary, egads! He freaks me out.

Anyhow, that's my two cents! :-)

Being a born and bred M*******, I used to be a bleeding heart liberal. Now I am more conservative in my thinking and would like to vote for Rudy but I think it will be McCain on the ballot. I will vote for him then. IF Obama had more experience I would vote for him. I like being an independant, voting for the person, not the party.

Interesting.....

I also think the running mate decision will be a major factor.

It's that TIME poll from a year ago? Or am I reading this incorrectly?

I like Obama's spirit and ideals, but I don't feel that he has the experience or the skills to be our president yet. I would consider voting for him in the future. If Clinton doesn't get the Democratic nomination, I don't feel comfortable voting for Obama this fall.

And I don't like all that nonsense about her remarks about LBJ and the civil rights movement being taken as a slight against MLK. Many, many people of all colors including white people, were responsible for bringing about racial equality in our country.

Wow.... great come back for Obama... (Another poll taken on 1/22-23 in MA.. Hillary has 59% vs Obama's 22%)

Obama has great style, is great magnetic speaker, ... Obama's message is change... but can Obama voters comment on what exactly he is changing? Where's the beef as some would say?
