I will make the confession that I live in Lynnfield and my wife is a teacher in Lynnfield.

FWIW, the Lynnfield superintendent of schools lives in Danvers and the Danvers superintendent of schools lives in Lynnfield.

The MA state income tax rate is 5.15%. With a family income of $150K you should qualify for a mortgage right up to the jumbo limit of $417,000, which is just under $2000 per month at today's 30-year rates.

I always recommend to people that they should decide on the town they want to live in first. Then find the best house that meets your requirements in that town. Comparing a new $600K house in Billerica with a $600K house in Lynnfield will only lead to frustration, for example.
Good advice.

Maybe she meant Beverly. There has never been a Wegmans in Andover or anywhere around. The first one opened in Marlborough.

The closes Wegman's to North Andover is the one in Burlington. I have never heard of a possible Wegman's being put in North Andover and I have lived here for a little over 5 years.
