Hanover easily is the best town out of the 3. It has the better school district and will have a lower crime rate. One issue with Stoughton is its proximity to Brockton.

1 Hanover
2 Avon
3 Stoughton

Avon is a nice town but the towns that surround it have issues.

Hanover is easily the best of the three for the criteria listed.

Depending on where you need to commute for work it could rate the worst on that score. Route 3 and the Braintree split are bad.
