Very difficult to find good Mexican food in N.E. What locals claim is "good" or "authentic" makes me scream in hysterical laughter. No, you don't understand - Mexican food is supposed to actually have taste, i.e., spices are used in cooking it.

How about a supposed "Mexican" restaurant that when you order an order of corn tortillas, they look at you like you just grew two heads, and when you ask for butter to go with 'em, they don't have any butter in the whole restaurant?

Margaritas that taste like dishwater.

No comino used. What's up with that?

Perhaps it's a metro Boston issue, because I've had plenty of good Mexican food in Nashua and Worcester. Good enough that trips to SoCal and Texas have yielded nothing better.

I drive from Rhode Island to New York a lot and have always been curious about those. Does anyone know how long they've been there? Which is the best one?

Thanks, I'll give it a shot if I ever go anywhere but AA. Reviews don't look promising though.

It's more of a takeout/quick lunch spot. Maybe 2 or 3 tables in there.
