I posted here a few weeks ago about getting a job in Boston. After visiting a few apartments/cities/neighborhoods, I fell in love with a place in Attleboro (even though I know it's not the most popular city on this board!). I researched the area, talked to the landlord and some others and I'm satisfied my apartment is in a safe area with close access to anything I could need. I also love that the downtown is being revitalized, and really like the idea of being part of something "up and coming." So thank you all so much for your help and advice! I'm very excited to move to Massachusetts!!

That being said! My apartment is about a mile south of the commuter rail station and for the most part (during normal commuting hours in good weather), I'll be walking to and from the station. During abnormal hours, I'll consider driving and parking or taking an Uber there/back. However, during normal commuting hours in rainy/super cold weather, I thought I'd consider taking the bus. There seems to be two different bus lines very close to my apartment that drop off at the Attleboro Transit Center. (Very) Long story short, does my monthly commuter rail pass include that bus fare? I'm finding the MBTA website confusing in this regard. TIA!

No it doesn't. The commuter rail pass is only good on the MBTA system, which are the buses much closer to the city. I'm guessing Attleboro is part of the GATRA system, which is unrelated. I could be wrong though, maybe they do accept it but my hunch is not.

Confirmed it is GATRA! Thank you very much! Looks like the fare is $1, which still does not seem bad to stay dry during the rain.
