How about Alewife Brook Parkway...between the T station and the 2 roundabouts?

The Gilmore Bridge going from Charlestown to Cambridge can get pretty awful. That intersection near the Museum of Science is an awful intersection.

Yes, the Alewife area is awful at rush hour. Also, Kendall Square has become progressively worse as it develops. There are many problematic areas. I would recommend contacting Cambridge Traffic, Parking & Transportation, as they may be able to share data and traffic studies with you.

The finish of the Longfellow might help Kendall.

Exit 18 offramp from the pike is my least favorite. But yeah, I won't be taking any jobs that require a drive to cambridge (at least not without an equity stake and doubling of my salary)

For me, on the way in, it's the Gilmore Bridge that runs past the side of Bunker Hill Community College up to the Museum of Science, and on the way home, it's Edwin Land Blvd AKA the end of Memorial Drive.
