I've used the Amazon locker option twice. The first time was fine. The second time, the touch screen had issues and it took me five tries to enter the password correctly (the touchpad keyboard would input a different character than I had selected). So after that very annoying experience, I refuse to use the locker option.

I understand that.

Our lockers are just up the street from us, so it's no big deal to go there. There's also the added security. I've never had a package stolen, but there's always that possibility.

I can't remember the last time I ordered something with Prime and it took more than 2 business days. Prime has been pretty good to me. After spitting the cost between my family it's well worth it.

Chewy.com orders have never failed to show up in 2 days, Sometimes 3 if you order on weekends. This includes buying a $5 order or $100 order.

And here we go again.....
HDMI Cable. Shipped and sold by Amazon. Was stated for delivery Mon. That changed to Tue. This morning says delayed at shipper.

These have all been Amazon delivery vehicles. If that means anything. It doesn't to me.
do i even bother with contacting? this has been 2 out of 3 delayed in 2 weeks.

I order a LOT on Amazon and eBay.
I was surprised to find the USPS to be the best for tracking and delivery time.
The worst is DHL, maybe FedEx. Their tracking is lame and they are the only ones who ever seem to be late.

I would agree. I usually have 10 items or so in the mail at one time, and the ones that come via USPS seem to always hit, or beat their promised date.

For example, I have an item that was promised by USPS for Thurs that shipped out on Monday. I have a delivery app on my phone that pulls all the tracking numbers, and I can see it's been delivered today, 1 day ahead of schedule.

UPS always misses delivery. Can't tell you how many times I've bought an expensive item, see it listed as "loaded on truck and out for delivery", left work early to make sure I'm home to get it (they usually come 5-7PM), and then see delivery rescheduled to following day.

In 2017 my family ordered 114 orders on our prime account. Two were late, so just over 98% reliability.

i was super psyched when Amazon opened a shipping facility 3 miles from me, but sadly it just means that the majority of my packages are delivered by AMZL. which i think is the common denominator in my late shipments.
