It’s going to end soon, isn’t it?

When I was outside 2 minutes ago it seemed pretty darn cold to me.

It was over when this thread was posted. "Heat wave" of just about 30 hours.

I must say it did an amazing job on the snowpack though. Even as recently as this past Tuesday it would have been impossible to envision seeing bare ground so soon.

I did manage to get an amazing amount of yard cleanup and did an oil change on 2 cars before the temp dropped far enough to make me feel cold. Even finally took down the xmas decorations that it was just too cold, or too snowy to do before.

Now more snow on the way

I was grateful for the warmer weather after having most days' highs in the 20s and below for a few weeks. It has tightened up some, but not as bad as last week, and the Nbpt forecast is calling for highs in the 30s and then in the 40s starting on this coming Saturday again. I'll take it!

Yeah well I’m cold and cranky. It’s only mid January and it’s been too cold for too long. Still have a long time before things really turn. It’s upsetting.

Glad to see there's a number of weather afficionados! I moved here from CT, whose City-Data forum has a very active sticky weather thread. I wonder if there's interest in making a similar one for MA?
