BRAINTREE, MA Bans Marijuana

PATCH/COM
By Daniel Libon, Patch Staff
BRAINTREE, MA — .....
'With a full room of residents marijuana opponents applauding the 9-0 vote, Braintree became the latest community to opt out of the state's marijuana law, meaning that any operations involving the recreational drug are banned from town

'I've never had more people..yet to hear someone say (marijuana) is a good idea'

"Maybe the feds will come in and do something, hopefully,"

"people are backing the ban because they, "don't want to see this erode the traditions and values we have in Braintree."

'We have enough trouble out there..we're not Brockton'

They're not Brockton, but now they're just like Lawrence, banning that mind altering drug the kids call weed.

Or About, 33% of all Ma communities saying NO. Starting to knock on the door of 50% of Massachusetts Banning marijuana, weed, pot, dope.

No, no one is banning marijuana. No one. Banning retail stores is not banning marijuana.

I bet plenty of people are growing for recreational use in every community in MA already...included those that ban retail storefronts.. No retail store needed. Plenty of info online on how to grow and where to buy the equipment.

Just like people were home brewing in Milton, Westwood, Needham, etc. before alcohol sales were permitted in those towns.

Yup, Wror's neighbors could all be growing POT in their basement legally and there's nothing he/she could do about it regardless of what the town/city bans in terms of retail/medicinal locations.
