What in the everliving hell are you talking about? Why would people break into a house for weed when they could go legally buy it?

Why is this your crusade?

Re

Gets worse. In order for criminals to home invade people's home to rob 'weed', criminals must be staking out 'weed' stores, following 'weed' customers home to their homes, then, as the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper put it, "kicking in the doors" of people's homes that had "weed" in them.

Of course, Mass communities that banned local "weed" stores will not have criminals hanging around local 'weed' stores. Just the Mass communities that approved local "weed stores"

By the way, "Jose Luis Torres, 54" was murdered in his Santa Rosa, CA. home 2 months ago when "weed" criminals broke into his house to rob "weed".

I read the article and I think you made most of that up.

Are we going to ban jewelry because home INVASIONS might happen? Or cellphones cause we don't want people getting mugged.

Marijuana has been abundant and easy to get in California for 30 years. I was offered KB everytime I walked from my Inner Richmond apartment to the Haight over a decade ago. Weed wasn't legalized there recently, it has been for a long long time. Medical MJ was a joke, $50 got you a card for saying you were depressed. It's no different now. And Humboldt Co has been a huge weed cultivation spot for 40 years.

Again, none of this makes sense because nothing has changed that affects any of this stuff. Legalization and decriminalization decreases the crimes here, and black markets increase the crimes.

When '"Jose Luis Torres"'s home was invaded and he was murdered in Santa Rosa, CA, by criminals looking for "weed",it was not til further news reports, the home invaders were there to rob 'weed'.
Its reported in the San Francisco article and a Mercury News article.

Frankly, i do not care about 'weed' criminals criminalizing "weed" users. I dont live in that world.
My community banned local 'weed' businesses. i am that much further away from the 'weed' world.

He was illegally cultivating/selling weed. Nothing to do with legal sales.

you should have been born 30 years earlier. Weed is everywhere and it's legal in Mass. You need to accept it. Having to drive 10 minutes away from your "weed free" town to an adjacent "weed town" to buy it is a minor inconvenience ...... nothing more .... I've been to states where dispensaries sell weed i.e., Nevada, Washington, etc... I have never seen anyone hanging around a "weed store". Your whole premise is fantasy land.

My son has a medical card for weed in Mass. He can buy 4 half gram pre-rolls for $20. You really think people are going to break in your house for $20?

Has not been a economic recession in the USA what, 30 years? It has been party party time, drugs are good. 'everybody who wants a job can get one'.
Come the next recession,it becomes survival of the fittest minds that keep their jobs, houses, in a limited economy. 'Weed smokers wont even be able to compete for a part time dish washer job. This country gets real mean in Recessions.
