Is there a "moratorium" from taking vacations and/or working from home at this time of year, resulting in everyone on the road at the same time?
Glad I'm not the only one who notices this. It seems like more people are out and about because of the good weather, yet summer vacations that take people out of state have yet to start.

You'll see another shift occur when schools are done and parents need to adjust their schedules based on the new morning routine with kids that don't need to be off to school. Usually it gets a little better into July when we get into the middle of vacation season and people are taking days off.

I have to drive down to providence every Friday during the summer from Bedford area. If i'm not on the road by 1PM, it's an easy 2 - 2.5 hour trip south. I go mad
