Hi - I was wondering if anyone commutes from Sudbury to the Seaport and has an idea about how long that drive might be in the morning / way home. What time would one have to leave in the morning to keep it reasonable?

Thanks!

Depends.
From 20 minutes to 90+.

If you leave home before 6 am, 20 minutes unless there's an accident. If you leave at 8, you're screwed.
At about 6:30, there's a slowdown at the construction in Framingham, at the 30 exit, and the 128 exit. The rest is often smooth sailing.

If you leave seaport before 4, 20 minutes. Leave at 4:05, 30-60 minutes. Leave at 4:30 Friday in the summer? Might as well walk, or take park at Framingham and take the train.

I find that google is fairly accurate if you want to look at estimated traffic time. The pike is certinally better then I93 though.

You could also look at taking the commuter rail to South station.

20 min? Do you live on the Framingham border? It takes me 20 min to get to 95 from my house with no traffic.
