The Sox might be bad.

Say what you will about how this season started, but there's nothing more magical than opening day at Fenway.

Opening Day after a championship is always special. It's unfortunate it's so cold today though, tt's much more magical with decent weather.

The ceremony was awesome. But where is Brady?

I'm not sure. The way I see it:

1. This is still like Spring Training for him (and all of the starters). I don't understand why they were all given so few innings during Spring Training.

2. Vazquez doesn't call a good game. Sale doesn't ever shake off catchers. We need Sandy Leon (not Swihart) behind the plate.

All good and well but we are 5.5 games back and it’s April

A friend that was a former MLB player once said to me, enjoy the game until the All Star Game. That is when things will get serious.

Ehh last years fast start was instrumental in propelling the team all year, always with a comfortable lead in the division. Right now we are working on the opposite. You may not win anything inApril, but you sure can lose something. A slow start should be hovering around .500, starting within striking distance even if you haven't put it together just yet. But 3-9 and having not even really played great competition by and large is definitely concerning.
