Very fair analysis! My wife is a broker, so calculus is a bit different. The interest rate is fantastic, and about the same as 2+ years ago. We also had some stock do very very well coupled with a significant increase in family income.

Curious - how come you guys aren't looking at a bigger house in Natick? There are quite a few large & nice homes listed right now actually.

That applies no matter where he buys. They want a bigger house.

We're getting pretty close to pulling the trigger on Sherborn. It's just an excellent town. The DS school system is also superb having spoken now with many experienced folks including a friend of ours who works for the Mass DOE. We managed to find a house that's not a teardown, and even has natural gas Just doing a bit more due diligence before getting it done.
