My sister and I are considering buying a home that is in front of the Longly Athletic Complex in Franklin, MA. The home is perfect for both of our needs but I do have a concern about it: the noise created by Longly Athletic Complex. Do any of you have any idea about how loud it gets there, the length of the games played, number of times games played there each week, and IF A SPEAKER is used by an announcer to amplify the info about the games? I don't mind a bit of noise but I don't want to hear the games broadcast non-stop.

The house we currently live in has a speaker for children's baseball games and for several years they'd let the children announce stats about the games loudly and constantly. Then, the last year they were allowed to use it, they started goofing around on the speaker constantly and singing karaoke to rock songs - all amplified, of course!I

Any info you can provide to me is greatly appreciated!

Isn't that a college field? I'd think you'd have to ask some of the neighbors.
