Antonio Brown accused of raping and sexually abusing ex-trainer

The woman, Britney Taylor, claims in the suit that Brown abused her twice in 2017 and once in 2018
Quote:
In the first incident, the wide receiver allegedly exposed himself to her and forcibly kissed her without permission during a training session in June 2017.
Quote:
At another training session weeks later, Brown allegedly snuck up behind Taylor as she was watching a church service on her iPad at his home, she charges in the lawsuit. Brown then masturbated and ejaculated on her back, the lawsuit states.

In the last incident, Taylor alleges Brown forced her face into a mattress on May 20, 2018 and raped her, the suit states. She tried to fight him off, screaming “no” and “stop,” according to the lawsuit.

No idea, but not hard for me to believe this about Antonio Brown. He thinks he is above all rules.

Sounds highly doubtful.

https://heitnerlegal.com/wp-content/...onio-Brown.pdf

The accuser offered Antonio a 1.6 million dollar settlement in 2017 to “invest” in a “business project” he denied. He was then informed the accuser and her mother had a an outstanding debt of 30k to the IRS. They’re home was in foreclosure I believe.

She continued to train him for 2-3 years. She met him and team maters at a strip club in Miami and invited him back to her house. They had sex.

Over the years he came to his house a few times and engaged in consensual sex several times.

Another woman named ‘Janet’ has text messages and DMs explaining to Antonio what’s going on. Apparently there’s audio where he accuser explain she is just trying to get money that ‘Janet’ has.

It also sounds like AB knows how to put himself in harm's way. Of course, said NE fan would be simply appalled if he was still with the Raiders. The guy is a cancer. Just admit it, cut him loose and move on.

LOL. Such a false accusation. The media should use some discretion about the accusations they publicize.

I find it a bit suspect that legal charges were not pursued that the accuser went straight to a civil suit. Time may or may not reveal the truth. It will be interesting to see how this plays out and how it affects his career.

This is true, ask them about Ben Roethlisberger.

My girlfriend and I were discussing this today. It does seem a bit suspect, but on the other hand, it may just be sound legal advice based on the evidence available. Because of the requirements for either, it's easier to "win" a civil suit than it is to "win" a criminal case. The latter could drag on for years to no avail if she doesn't have concrete evidence (which is not always easy to come by in a rape or sexual assault case). She would have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the allegations are true. With a civil suit, she just has to convince the jury it's more likely than not that the allegations are true. More likely, they're hoping for a relatively fast settlement out of court. Sure, it could be a money grab or taking advantage of a polarizing athlete who his at peak polarization right now and is an easy target. But it could also be that she simply doesn't want to spend months or years being dragged through the mud only to lose a criminal case. It's part of the reason many rape survivors don't come forward.

I'm interested to see what happens, and I hope some truth is revealed. If any of the allegations are true, he should be removed from the league for good.
