I don't know why you'd go to Albany, either. There's just not much to see there.
I think he means Chester, CT. It's an absolutely lovely town in the lower Connecticut river valley. Don't miss the Hadlyme ferry (if it's still in season!).

You guys all jumped on the OP for not knowing that the postal abbreviation of Connecticut is CT and not CO (Colorado). In fairness, I wouldn't expect someone outside the US to know that.

Oh, I know what the abbreviations for both states are. Is there some reason he'd want to visit Chester, CT? Outlets, maybe?

I know you know the abbreviations, but the OP did not, and everyone assumed he wanted to drive to Colorado.

I lived in CT for 9 yrs before moving to MA, and visited Chester many times. It has a lovely little center with antique shops and restaurants. The country's longest running ferry across the CT river (3 vehicles at a time) to the Hadlyme castle which is a hiking & tourist destination in itself. That whole region (Chester, Old Saybrook, Madison) is well worth a visit.

No, you're not stupid...that was the point I was making. I would never expect a non-US native to know the postal abbreviations for our 50 states.

By the way...Chester, CT is an excellent destination! I hope you enjoy your trip to the States.
