So I took this thing today and I am sorry to say they are really going to have to step things up if they want this to catch on. At 7:25 am I think there were 18 cars in the parking lot.

They weren't too bright either, there was free food, free gift cards, and stuff, awaiting you if you took the line - but no one knew that. The trip from foxborough to Walpole was kind of torturous. We stopped outside Walpole and poked along until Plimptonville. It is as if they are scared of the switches. The walpole parking lots were all packed. Norwood Central was packed. The train overall was a good 15 minutes late.

Going home pretty much the same thing. We were 15 minutes late pulling into Foxborough and we poked along at Walpole and after.

Despite the fact that there was like 3 cars in the lot I managed to find someone to block me who didn't know where they were going and almost caused a zillion accidents trying to make the basic decision on how to enter a main road.

I think I will take it tomorrow as I don't have much going on but on any day I need to be some place.. nope.

It might be good for when I go in late.

Thanks for your review. I may try it when they've worked out the kinks.

Are the lots $40 per parking session as they are for Pats games?

Agree there was almost awareness that this was going on other than a sign here or there around South Station.

I believe it's $4/day. They should just make parking free.

There have been flashing signs along Rte. 1 for the past month announcing commuter rail from Foxborough starting Oct. 21.

What's to prevent someone from parking over near the pro shop an walking over?

Right. The barriers to taking the Foxboro line should be lowered as much as possible.

Right now they have cops there every morning when I arrive. But eventually I think nothing. The need to make the parking free and have an express train in the morning.

Wow that is ridiculous. How much is it to pay all those cops vs 18x$4...$72/day in revenue???

Not sure they are there all day or are there for parking enforcement. It might just be until things are routine

Also I thought they could be there to guard our cars.

Another slow poke night. This time we were delayed by an inbound from Foxboro. But also poke, poke, poke. Even when we pull into the station the train comes in at about 1 mph from route 1 until stopping.

I think this is about to get the thumbs down from me. I typically get into Norwood Central at 5:45 and I am home in 30 minutes by car (6:15) But now, I am getting home at around 6:35 and that is not helpful.

They are going to have to drop some stops and speed the trip up or there is really no reason to take it.

There were about 18 cars parked tonight when I came out so I am guessing no more than 50 during the day.
