What about that real estate development along Hancock and Pleasant Streets in Dorchester-- Stalled or under construction?

Sad, right now we have a ton of units under construction... But after 2022, not much will hit the ground.

I wish Boston suburbs like Newton, Waltham, Arlington, Medford, Canton and Lexington didnt have so many NIMBYs. Like what the hell.. im so pissed about Riverside going kablunk.

MetroWest...as an entity.... is one of the biggest buzz kills in New England.

Limits urbanity mobility diversity affordability and equality all for the sake of their property values. They’ve perverted the spirit of the commonwealth in these highbrow town meetings.

The irony of course, is the "quaintness" they so proclaim to guard has been but wiped out by this very same elitism. Don't let the stone walls and picket fences fool you...

Sure, that's what I am saying as well. Not many people can afford these "luxury" developments based on local wages. Foreigner/ultra wealthy have distorted real estate markets in Boston, New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. The numbers just don't make sense and are killing opportunities for the otherwise middle/upper middle class individuals and families from affording housing near the City core.

???

Depends how you define metro west. There's plenty of diversity and affordability in the pioneer valley.
