Well, the Brees/TB12 NFC South head-to-head games will be NFL highlights. Not sure why Tom wanted that, though. The final punctuation mark on his career will be Brees cementing records beyond Tom's reach. Can't wait for the first run-away-oh-no-they-are-trying-to-tackle-me-I'll-throw-into-the-ground as a Buc. Let's see how their fans react. I was tired of it, that's for sure.

Bye.

As a Colts fan, I hear Jacoby Brissett's available!

Tampa is the 18th largest metro area in the country - and only 14 of those are NFL markets that aren't BOS-PVD If you throw in Orlando, 8 million people live in central Florida, which would put it 7th biggest in the country, between us and DTW.

While there are a lot of retirees (my grandparents retired to between Tampa and Orlando in the 70s), there are a lot of people who are either 1: suckers and/or 2:health conscious/athletic

Why are we assuming he had an alternative?

It sounds like the chargers were the alternative

I bet Tom goes to the Buccaneers and signs 2 year contract worth 50 million dollars.

How much money does one guy need?

He and Giselle have a reported net worth of $600mil. He could have just retired and done a few sponsorships for $50mil if he wants money that badly

Agree. It seems circus like that he’s joining another team at 43.

It's not about the money. It's personal. One recent report is that Belichick was ready to trade Brady to SF but Kraft nixed it - thus Jimmy G was traded.

Brady has taken one for the team for years financially and he was done with that. He wants to prove that he can do it anywhere.

I don't think it will happen but can you imagine the hate if the Patriots win the Super Bowl this year with a 2nd year quarterback?
