I think any sort of decline is going to take some time. Italy probably has far more cases than it realizes and took action a little too late with nearly 10K cases in a region of only 100K people. It might be a week or two before the trend starts to reverse itself.

Honestly, the measures to contain this should start to ramp up soon, not when there are 3000+ cases and growing in one specific regional area. Schools are starting to move to remove learning, and I see cancellations of various events occurring daily. Personal events like bday parties and dinners are starting to get cancelled.

NY enacted a small quarantine zone around a cluster, and did it early. It might be effective, or not. We will see.

Both China, and S korea have shown the outbreak can be slowed down.

Right but my company has not offered to say, hey anyone who takes public transportation should work from home. It could be coming. I’m waiting it out but I’m not sure.
