This is really far off from reality. A vaccine trains your immune system to combat the virus when it sees it. It’s ~ 90% effective in doing that. It absolutely does stop infection and prevent people from spreading the virus. It’s just that it’s only 90% effective in doing that so some vaccinated people can still get infected and some of those can spread the virus when they’re infected. It’s why it’s so important to vaccinate everyone. The name of the game is lowering the transmission rate to well below 1.0. We will continue to have outbreaks in the low vaccination rate areas like Springfield and New Bedford as the more contagious mutations like Delta spread through those communities. It’s your civic duty to get vaccinated to lower the transmission rate. Personally, I think the state should start denying Medicaid/Masshealth benefits to unvaccinated people who are perpetuating a severe public health problem.

Cool story, bro.

As someone with two kids under 12, I’m sort of just hoping they come around on the whole vaccine thing.

Wrong on both counts. Get vaxxed or stay vulnerable.

I'm with you 100%. We have people elsewhere in the world literally begging us for supply, and we can't even get our own misfits to take it (New England being one of the exceptions).

How is New England an exception?

and Mississippi wins again! What is wrong with these people? Hope they stay away from New England, stay down there in your sweltering South. Get COVID, since you seem to want that. They endanger everyone with their anti vax superstitions.
