I might be wrong but it might contribute more than smoking.
you should forward this along to the AMA. cc: Dr. Fauci

The P-town study makes no such case, quote "data from this report are insufficient to draw conclusions about the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines against SARS-CoV-2, including the Delta variant, during this outbreak".

Just a bizarre choice to hold up as the standard of excellence. Charlie Baker is at least rational, straightforward, and has basic competence. DeSantis has none of those traits.
"the worst performance in the nation" ?. Before making a judgement as to a particular Governor's effectiveness we should wait until this thing is over.

However, both Israel and Pfizer say that efficacy drops off at 6 months. Thus the boosters for everyone in Israel. It took the US bloated bureaucracy 2 months to process that information after initially shouting it down. My fiancée gets her booster in a month…. Probably 2 months later than she should have received it. I’ll be getting mine not too long afterwards.

So 136 deaths out of 4.5 million fully vaccinated people. You have a numerator vs denominator comprehension problem.

It's small but more than I thought since the vax is supposed to prevent death. Some claim no one can die if vaccinated. You make condescending assumptions. My point was some claim no one can die if vaccinated. That was the point of my post.

Irresponsible because it was presented definitively. Less likely is accurate. What was written was not.

If this is a reference to my post, which I assume it is based on the timing, no such argument was made or even remotely suggested. Rather than ignorantly putting words in other people's mouths, please stick to your usual routine of posting last week's news. Thank you.

While the vaccine certainly cuts down their risk, they still face a higher risk than younger or healthier vaccinated people.

It's no surprise that it's younger unvaccinated people in the hospital but older vaccinated people who are getting seriously ill.
