What should we have done?
- Immediately start PPE production for our healthcare and the essential and non-essential people- ship to residences for free.

- Lock down the seniors facilities- with the PPE and virus control entrance and exits for relatives who visit with some limits.

- continue with schools and universities- PPE for teachers, HVAC ventilation rate’
ramped up, wide spread use of UVC lights in schools and public spaces

- limiting mass public events

-educate of some tangible benefit of masking.

- tightly control mass media against speculation and panic spreading. They all were a menace in this - the same degree as a virus

- have 1 reliable daily updates source of medical and scientific epidemiological non-political information I wouldn’t mind if it would have been coming from our military medical authorities only.

- get international cooperation and research results from other countries- peer reviewed.

- Prohibit political figure heads and CNN/FOX et al from opening their mouths or expressing their “opinions” related to epidemic

Let the infection all unfold - the original virus was less infectious which could have meant less deaths overall as less of vulnerable secured people could have been infected while the healthiest population brought on immunity

Obviously some good nuggets here. But I remember this period vividly. The WHO declared a world health emergency in late January, and I cancelled a scheduled trip to Korea. Other than restricting travel from China on Jan 29, there is no evidence that the US govt did anything more substantive until March 11 when they restricted travel from Europe. There's a valuable 6 weeks in there...which could have been dedicated to some of the above...but instead there was abject denial and/or downplaying the seriousness of it. In the meantime we had the famous Biogen conference at Marriott Long Wharf which was later found to seed 330,000 infections worldwide. And we were caught flat-footed on PPE, ventilators, O2 concentrators, you name it.

What I abjectly disagree with? "Letting the infection unfold" when we knew so little about it at the time. It would have been (even more) disastrous.

Ivermectin is a fda approved drug. It just proves the corruption. Many people have been prescribed it before covid but after to help big pharma profits some pharmacists refused to fill out doctors prescriptions. Doctors were threatened if they prescribed it even though it has been proven to be safe. Their doctors licenses were threatened by the medical tyranny.

The goal is as many as people as possible to take these vaccines. If you push something too much people get suspicious.

Ivermectin works because it attaches to the ace2 receptors according Dr Peter McCullough.

It's no secret that getting ANY data out of SOME African countries is a challenge. While he raises legitimate questions about methodology in this particular graphic "health nerd" hardly completely debunks the underlying premise that Ivermectin may be associated with lower mortality from COVID, and this is basically nothing more than a hypothesis on his part that data may likely be different. I'll wait for the actual peer review as opposed to the (clearly biased) Micky D's of Epidemiology on Twitter.

Most studies I've perused point to a major difference in early use of the drug, as opposed to use after patients are in hospital as was the case with most clinical trials referenced in the FDA's actions. And when are you going to tell me why the FDA restricted licensed medical doctors in this country from off-label use of the drug?

There are many more. Not arguing the jury is completely in, but the force of resistance being waged against this medicine is far stronger than is justified.

No shocker there. Another expert challenges the orthodoxy and gets railed. Expert seems to be the title you get not based on your qualifications, but on your willingness to conform to a particular point of view.
