OK so first basic layoffs of student related work. Now it looks like the fall semester could be in January.

https://www.masslive.com/coronavirus...-19-fears.html

So is there a beanpot next year? How about an Alston Christmas?

If BU says that publicly what about BC? Harvard? MIT? Northeastern?

Much of retail is dependent on the holiday season. Without students there goes Newbury Street. How can the MFA and Mos let alone the New England Aquarium last with this population drop?

Ya i was a teenager in the 90's but i dont remember the flow bee and it looks like that contraption takes up too much room. Just use electric clippers that work. how short can the flow bee do? i like attachment one and a half on a set of clippers really short. In the videos i am watching on the flow bee it looks like you still need to trim the back with the clippers.

Flow Bee only works on light weight Caucasian hair. Black, thick Mediterranean hair and the like will still need clippers! It is like vacuum clippers.

My dog needs to be groomed. We’re used to bringing him to petco but it’s been closed the past few weeks as well. He’s going to be very shaggy. We’re going to give him a bath outside but we can’t clip/trim him.

Did you never see Wayne’s World?

I’m gonna let my hair grow out. Sort of like a playoff beard but for social distancing. I was already overdue for a haircut when everything shut down. Curious to see how long my hair can get.

My weekly reminder that tracking and testing is, at best, dismal.

NYC "at home" deaths are up 10x versus pre-Covid-19 pandemic. These deaths are not counted towards the Covid-19 stats. Hmmm.

ya i saw waynes world but its been since the 90's since i saw it. i will not let my hair grow out unfortunatley i have male pattern baldness and guys that are losing their hair that grow it long looks terrible. the common action is if your losing your hair short cut it or shave it off and grow a beard. Funny you say that i am growing my first beard.

the beard kinda compensates for lack of head hair. I guess I am lucky my father started losing his hair at 18!

i have had short hair for so many years that long hair is very uncomfortable.
