Have you noticed the insane claims being put out there like

- it is impossible to get a vaccine or
- it is impossible to be immune.

Like all the laws of physics and viral science just went out the window for this ONE virus.

Enough, the numbers aren't changing on the world o meter. It is time to go back to work. This is insanity.

I don't agree with the poster you replied to but I do have to say that the Massachusetts crowd has been very doom and gloom on this topic compared to some other states. The Connecticut crowd surprisingly has been displaying lots of optimism about overcoming the virus.

It is just me or why are the numbers practically the same every day. We aren't going down. We are just level. We have to just put a line in the sand and say we need to go back to work no matter what.

These numbers are just no going down.

I was responding to a poster who said the numbers today are the same as they were a month ago.

I think you forget that many people are still working. I’m working from home everyday.

I could kind of care less when restaurants, malls, bars and whatnot open. I don’t have to go just because they open. My life has been affected enough by schools closing and my kids activities ending so now they are with us 24/7 while we still try to keep our jobs. So the ‘ fun stuff’ of life isn’t that big a deal to me. If I was single and in my 20s maybe I’d be dying for the bars to open so I could socialize again with people. Everyone is affected in different ways. I am not opposed to anything opening tomorrow, I just won’t be going.

Another thing im bummed about is I had joined a gym in my work building and had been going everyday at lunch. I felt great. Then the work from home thing happened and the gym closed. I imagine the gym will open once this shutdown is over but not so sure my office will
Be opened anytime soon based on what I’m hearing.

It's plateauing. That happens with these things. If we keep taking proper measures, it will go down within time. If we re-open too soon, it will likely spike higher. I really think you are smarter than you let on, and won't waste anymore time trying to explain the obvious. But what you are asking for is reckless.

Once the MSM stops reporting about this incessantly we will see things go back to normal. This country runs by whatever the MSM wants you to run on. Hopefully they find a new story before the economy is completely tanked and our country still has a leg to stand on.
