Yep, people on here in particular were freaking out about this and calling me every name in the book for bringing it up. Don't listen to the Ohio guy! When in doubt, PANIC!!!

Also, I remember people accusing me of not listening to the experts (which I always have, just that there are more experts than 2 people on the east coast). Anyway, Dr. Fauci agrees with me now and thinks schools should reopen. Who is the conspiracy theorist now?

I am really over debating, it's so obvious now. Somehow this issue went from being more or less objective to purely ideological. Really concerned about our country/world. We are completely controlled by media. Does Prof Chomsky still live in Cambridge? He might have some insights for everyone.

I think that should be okay. Might be forced to keep it open and could get hot.

Still dropping. 494 new cases, 35 deaths. Hospitalizations down another ~100. Total hospitalizations 1533 (350 in ICU/238 Intubated). All the vital metrics are still trending down.

Moving to second phase.....

“Governor Charlie Baker announced Saturday that retail stores, day camps and day care centers will be allowed to reopen on Monday, and diners will be able to enjoy outdoor meals at restaurants.“

Unless you live on Nantucket, the Vineyard, or Cuttyhunk, Vermont won’t let Massachusetts residents in without a 14 day quarantine. Same for the three NH border counties where all the people live. Rockingham County, Hillsborough County, and Merrimack County.

Many year round residents on the islands will welcome it as very good news to reclaim some of the summer season and not have their livelihoods destroyed.

VT is relaxing restrictions over the course of the month as well.

Except that much of the islands rely on that short season for their livelihoods.

Rentals are making you sign a waiver attesting the fact that you have quarantined for 14 days at home in isolation.

I literally just sent in the paperwork and deposit for a NH rental at the end of the month.

Well, that's strange to me. What if the person is an essential worker and is going out to work? What if that person or any person just plain lies on the waiver? Are there consequences of any kind? Sounds off to me. Maybe a "guidance" more than anything.
