Yes, pretty much everywhere outside of the DC and Baltimore areas. Annapolis is quaint and nice. MD isn't that geographically large though, so you're not really *that* far away from civilization, except for that extreme northwestern portion that's more like WV.

Yeah, but its surprising how quickly the scenery turns to farmland after 20 minute drive away from dc.

There is suburban sprawl, but (around DC at least) its different from the land development in Delaware and out west.

Unlike these new suburban communities and levittowns which are based on tract-housing, MD has a lot of old growth neighborhoods with common woodland, independent lots, and hilly geography that makes it feel natural and less cookie-cutter.
