Yes but the "median" includes all, and is typically well below what the "median" 2 income family at the peak of their careers.

I mean, they are all bought with a credit line. A shiny pickup may be owned by some one with 20k in credit card debt + mortgage + car loan and an unstable job that pays 60k.

On another note if we want more towns to become more diverse then more diverse people need to move to these towns. I get it Milton is a popular place for professional black people but maybe if more professional blacks moved to hingham and Westwood those places would diversify as well. I guess people fear moving to places where there aren't many folks who have the same skin color that they do...but someone has to make the first move.
