Not a lot of resident racial diversity in these towns. I think Braintree will be probably be off of this map in 5-10 years. Braintree is seeing diversity creep in from Quincy and Randolph. Specifically South Braintree.

Oh yes. It seems like the south shore plaza is majority black shoppers these days as well. I haven't been there since the pandemic began but that's what I recall.

I don't know about the majority (albeit it feels like that sometimes) but I think that's due to SSPs proximity to Boston, Brockton and Randolph.

Seems like it's been a haven for gang activity.

While I understand why you may feel that way, the reality is that there isn't more "gang activity" going on in SSP than Copley, Galleria or along Newbury.

That being said, the chances of a gang member from H-Block (Humboldt) crossing paths with someone from Lenox in SSP are higher nowadays than say 20 years ago. Overall, it's a story as old as time. Replace H-Block and Lenox with The McLean gang and McLaughlin gang, replace SSP with Salisbury Beach.

In both cases the gangbangers gain access to new areas and bring their trouble out of the city to whatever location happens to be the unfortunate location.

There were gang members at SSP 20 years ago.

Benzino was involved in an incident there in 2000-huge gang member https://apnews.com/article/bcc3350a2...72eaeb3df600a9

Oh no doubt, but to msRB311's point I think SSP is a bit more active than 20 years ago. Could be wrong though, I was a child back then LOL

Re topic-

This question is divisive and vile. It should be 'Where do affluent families live in MA?'
The terms 'b****' and 'w****' have no value and should be eradicated from our language.

Apparently it's ok for black people to ask where other rich black people live. If white people ask about either race and where they reside it's a problem.
