Does anyone have a real life experiences with either of these towns? I'm sure this a far cry, but there are opportunities in both of these towns that I can capitalize on, but I don't know anything about either of them. Nothing more than what the internet can tell me. Any information would be great. Thank you.

Two different parts of the states- Sturbridge is in south central Mass near the Connecticut border- the town is near Southbridge- and about 28 miles east of Springfield. Sturbridge is close to Springfield and Hartford Connecticut and what these two metro areas offer.

East Bridgewater is south of Boston by about 25 miles in eastern Mass.

Sturbridge. I just think it's a nice town that is a good place to live. East Bridgewater is a lot closer to Boston, but Sturbridge is only about an hour drive from the city, too. A good friend of mine lives in Sturbridge and loves it. I know some people from East Bridgewater who couldn't wait to move away from there. But everyone's preferences and priorities are different.

My personal choice would be Sturbridge.

My choice would be Sturbridge, its in a much more beautiful part of the state. But, it is out of the way from Boston. East Bridgewater is much closer to Boston and Ca pe Cod, but it really isn't anything special. I live 2 towns over from East Bridgewater. Sturbridge will probably be more expensive to live in, but unless you care about proximity to Boston & such, go with Sturbridge.

Ehh, I'd pick East Bridgewater. It's close to Cape Cod, and it's really quite lovely down here. The education is fine as well. Sturbridge would be more expensive.

I have lived in East Bridgewater my whole life (30 years). It has 3 great schools, my children attend the elementary school. If you like small quiet towns then move here. The ocean is not that far away either.
