Alas, my husband is a right-a-way agent in the oil and pipeline field (although he also has a law degree) and Houston is the hot spot for that right now.
I also look at real estate on a weekly basis, just to satisfy my own dreams.
I hope you get to live there someday soon. Hopefully, I will be right behind you!
Yes we were there last October too!!!! the first 2 days we did the Mohawk Trail and visited the lovely towns, then we went to the Cape for the next 2 and spent the remaining 4 in Salem for the kiddo. The fall colors were so amazing I was in complete shock when the locals told us taht it had not even reached the peak color!!! In TX you can only find colors like that in the craft stores OMG I browse the real estate on an every other day basis too I will print the ones I like off and take them home and put them on my husbands pillow, post them on the fridge darn i think i need therapy!!!
BTW did you get to taste the famous marshmallow fluff they have? AMAZING

Your pictures make me want to get a second job just so i can save money even faster. by the way where did you see the whales at?
See I got caught up thinking about this place I forgot to answer your question
we drove to Provincetown and did the whale watching there. They were really good at letting you know what they were doing, the types of whales, etc. It really was a beatiful thing to see.

LOL! My husband gets mad at me because, as he puts it, I am nagging him to death! Oh well...
No, I did not try the marshmallow fluff, but it sounds good. I did eat a "wicked lotta chowder!" (Sorry MA if I messed that up!)
We went to the Lobster Pot in P-town, delicious!!!

Micheal49, are you a professional photographer? If not you should be. Your picture of Salme Harbor simply took my breath away and brought a tear to my eye. When I saw the picture I felt as if I was looking at a magical town rising out of the mist much like the mythical Avalon of Arthurian lore. The more I hear and see about Salem and the rest of MA, the more I feel that I am possibly making the last move if not in my life then for a very very long time (I'm 32 and have moved about as many times).
I hope to be able to move to Salem no later than early fall 2010. I want to make sure that I have enough money saved first so it will be a good move.
Also I havent met twiggy yet i believe but will keep a look out, thanx

Thank you for the beautiful pictures, michael49. We went to Salem, but arrived after nightfall, so I missed seeing it.
We can't wait to repeat our visit!

Thanks, but no I'm no Pro, but I'm glad you liked the shot. Here's one just outside of Salem harbor that you might like...

Since were on an ocean theme, here's one of Plum Island that I took on the same trip (my wife and I live in Western Mass)...

Oh, and one of the best things about New England is how close you are to the Neighboring states, like Maine...

That settles it then. I'm getting a second job so I can save money even faster. I must move to MA. All the photos that I have seen are so peaceful and beautiful. I just know that moving there will be the right thing for me. Michael49, you should try having your pictures blown up poster size and framed. I'm sure people would buy them. I know I would.
