Hadley, South Hadley, Granby and Westfield are missing! I'll get over it. Lancaster missing too. Oh well.
Glad to see Dorchester on the list.
Dana definitely the oddball but I've been there and happy to see it included.
Look forward to reading it. Congratulations on getting it done Eric H!

I got the book in the mail yesterday. It was like a trip back through my life to see all those places that I've lived or worked or at least visited. It's information packed too and made for interesting reading. I guess Belchertown's common is pretty good after all. I'll go back to Greenfield for sure because I don't know why I missed their common.

Thank you for honoring poor Dana, gone but not forgotten. Longmeadow's does look good. All those childhood years of riding my bike to school right next to it but I never paid much attention to the green. It was just sort of...there. And now, thanks, to this book, I know where that heavenly town fair was held with the best pies in the world in the town hall.

It's a really good book and it covers the state. As someone who hails from WMass, I truly appreciate that aspect.

Default Clinton Common

Interesting thread!

Clinton, MA is actually home to a surprisingly nice town common. It is perhaps as expansive as Salem Common (another nice one), but a bit more off the beaten path. The town is also close to a real gem in Massachusetts - Wachusett Reservoir.

Here are some good pics of the Common: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attracti...achusetts.html
