I'll be in Boston from Oct 7-15 of this year and I'm wondering if fall has started there yet! I know it's a little early for the trees to start changing colors, but I'm hoping I'll get to see some pretty trees on my visit in a couple weeks.

Is the weather crisp and cold yet?

Here is a link so you can get a real time update. Go to foliage reports, then northeast, then click update #5. There is also a map showing the areas changing, which is not much.

I have been watching too, since I am moving back to Western MA this weekend, and I don't want to miss it. You will get there at a good time too.

FashionD..you will be arriving just in time. Just a little change in color here and there, but nothing significant yet. The weather is in the 60's generally and Friday will be 59 with lots of rain forecasted for this weekend. It is definitley sweater weather!

Oregon and Washington State can rival a Massachusetts autumn. I never realized how much I miss fall. I live in phoenix, and fall around here just means it drops from 108 degrees, all the way down to 99 degrees. It sucks. Im jealous of all of you folks kicking around in the crunchy leaves with that cool breeze in the air

Fall is definitely here, at least in western mass. The leaves started changing (slowly) several weeks ago and this week seems to have been when they've really started to kick in. It's hard to predict, but I'd estimate they'd be right around their peak around the time you get here.
