We are looking at property in plymouth. My son is presently in an excellant school system on the northshore. He could potentially have to spend his senior year in plymouth if all goes forward, next year. I was curious to know how good the high school is?

I'm not sure about the high school. I've heard nothing either way, but I'm sure there are others on this forum who would know.

My question is why would you move your son right before his senior year?

There's another thread her on up and coming cities/towns in MA and there's someone who has posted about Plymouth. You'll probably want to read that and maybe contact directly. I live next door to Plymouth and have not heard anything bad about the school system. Right next door is Bourne. Most people have never heard of Bourne so think Buzzards Bay, Sagamore Beach, Pocasset, Cataumet, Monument Beach.
I have personal experience with this school system. Both of my kids have been here since kindergarten and are presently at the High School. I've always been pleased with the administration, teachers and staff.
