Hi folks,

In a couple months I'll be starting a job in Burlington and I need some help figuring out where to rent an apartment. Here is what I'm looking for:

- I'm in my 20s, so I'd like to live closer to the urban Boston area, hopefully near a T station.
- I don't want Boston itself, as the commute is probably more annoying than the surrounding cities (anyone care to confirm?)
- I'm looking for a max of $1300 a month, including heat for a 1 bedroom apartment.

Any ideas and comments would be greatly appreciated!

I rented a brand new 2 BR/1 BA from Avalon Apartments (in Woburn) which is on the 93 freeway....20 minute drive directly into the city. Its easy access to Boston and about 5 - 10 drive to Burlington. In can with ALL BRAND NEW washer/dryer, refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishwasher, carpet. I paid $1,470 for my apartment which was 20 paces from the management office and complex fitness center. I just moved this month (headed to CA) but it was by far my best apartment.
