Can anybody comment on what raising a young child is like in Carlisle. My wife and I are renting in Lexington and would like to find a community with a bit more open land, but maintains the community feel...are there lots of young families there?

i can't believe no one has answered you yet. yes...it's a great place to raise children, and there are lots of young families in Carlisle. the nice thing about a small town is that when you have young kids, you end up meeting pretty much all the other young kids and their families by the time they're in kindergarten.
