My partner and I are relocating to MA from Georgia and we are interested in the Longmeadow area because I will be attending Bay Path College. I am wondering if anyone has advice on a great city near that area where I can move my same-sex family to. Our child will be attending 2nd grade so we are interested in great schools also. Any feedback will be appreciated.

the whole are is great,some sections of Springfield are not that great,but the schools are not the best in Springfield.if you don't mind a half hour to 45 minute commute,you could look into the Amherst and Northampton area.

Northampton !!
Longmeadow is probably the nicest area nearby - though I think a little dull and snooty. I would highly recommend Northampton - an artsy college town (very gay-friendly) and just about 25-30 minutes up I-91.
