Hi All...

I'm listening to WGBH Classical FM this morning, and totally jealous of your snowstorm! I bet it's beautiful! Enjoy your day.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy "Whatever". I can't wait to move back to New England!!

Life is much more romantic in retrospect. I also miss the snow (I live in FL now), but I know if I moved back, I'd be cursing every snowstorm. Most people forget how much of a pain commuting to work is in the snow.

I'm fortunate enough to be able to work at home, so I still welcome the "chore"! .. the best part is coming back inside and making a hot cup of Harney's Hot Cinnamon Spice tea :-) Can't wait to do it again!

Weather is a big factor as to why some people move from the snowbelt to the sunbelt. I love the snow but as one gets older it does become harder to deal with. Dealing with ice is what I don't like. I rather get hit by a blizzard then by an ice storm.

It is harder to deal with getting older... I've got an arthritic shoulder, and I do have to take Advil. But once I'm out there and I keep it moving I'm ok.

Well we've got plenty of it here you're more than welcome to come shovel.

I'd hate you to feel like you're missing out or anything. We'll save it for you.

Took me a little while to dig my car out this morning. Fortunately though I did not have to go anywhere today. All these snowstorms so far are on my weekend (Sunday and Monday) - or overnight, and the roads are cleared by when I have to leave for work.

At least today's storm, the snow was light and fluffy up here. The heavy wet stuff is the worst.

Two feet of snow is rare in Baltimore, so most of us don't have fancy snow blowers and such. But I have to admit that digging out this morning was kind of neat. All of the neighbors (well, at least most of them) are out shoveling at once, and helping each other dig their cars out, cracking jokes, just having fun. And you have a real sense of accomplishment afterwards. Also, the fact that it's Christmas time makes it a little more enjoyable - it really gets you into the holiday spirit.

But once a year is more than enough, thank you. I suspect that if we happen to get another big storm it will be a lot less enjoyable. And over the next few weeks as it starts melting during the day and then freezing up at night, making walking and driving treacherous, it's going to start being a real pain in the you know what.

Default Call you crazy??

Call you crazy..okay..you're crazy! LOL I HATE the snow. Hate shoveling it. Actually, the only good thing about winter is the bugs and snakes go away for a while. At least up here in MA they do.
