I'm just going to suggest Millis. Close to Natick (approx 15-20 minutes), good schools, small town look and feel. Depending on what you feel is reasonable, I think the housing prices are reasonable here. Been here 17 years and have enjoyed it.
Why not just live in Natick? It is a good town with good schools. Is it generally outside your budget? Or do you not want to live that close to your coworkers?
I'll suggest Hudson as well. Good schools, close to major highways, easy to get around. Millis is also nice but the taxes are really high. They have fantastic schools though.
Hi
From someone that has lived in Natick for 20 yrs. , it is a great little town . But I wish I was 50 mi. away from the Malls . ( personal preference , We are looking to move to Nh. or Tn. or ? )
Depending on what You want , country , city , small town , 50 mi. gives You a big circle with good back roads and main highways or a toll road to get to work .
As I sit here typing this and looking out the window at the snow and sleet falling , It dawned on Me , do You get snow day's at the Lab ? or will You have to report .
Bob
Bandit~ sorry for the delay in responding on your question on "snow days". Most likely, but only if the Senior Mission Commander closes the base~! It's happened to me down here in Virginia at Ft. Monroe a few times (Big Storms, etc..)
I'm currently in my reenlistment window and Naticks laboratory is available. As an E-6 11B (Infantryman) does anybody know what kind of job I would be doing. I'm guessing testing new equipment, etc. Just looking to try something different in my military career. Any info will help from current Soldiers stationed there.
