I live very close to 140 and can get to 290 easily. How long should it take to get from Worcester to Norwood (Rt 1 area)?

When are you going to drive? It takes about an hour without traffic, which is all I've ever done. You may be able to change routes if you can determine where the backups are before you get there. You probably won't always be able to do that, though.

I'm guessing at least an hour. I drove from Norwood to Worcester a couple of weeks ago and it took me about 50 minutes in the evening (no traffic at all). If you add in traffic it could easily take you 90 minutes each way. I don't know how the traffic would be in the morning but 95 but be pretty busy during rush hour.

The cost of jet fuel would just be too high.

The commute would be during rush hour. I did look at taking 495 to route 1, it only adds about 4 miles, but should be less traffic.?
