I'm looking into moving out in that area. I'd prefer to live somplace where I wouldn't need my car all the time. I have no problem driving it for foodshopping or whatever, but sometimes I just want to walk around and check out the stores. I'm just looking for a complex that's maybe a 5-10 min. walk to the downtown area.

thanks
Linda

yeah, I did that. But since I live 2 hrs. away street names on google mean nothing to me. they don't say if they are a 10 min. walk or not, or if they're full of druggies, and most don't have photos of the apartments.

there is not an apartment complex near downtown, but there is more than enough 2 and 3 family homes right in and around downtown.also keep in mind that this western mass and having a car is pretty essential to getting around.
