hi well I own an apartment there and I rent it out ,it is not as bad as it use to be ,drugs and stuff ,there are big families that live there lot's of kids it is confident to most places .make sure you get an upgraded unit ,some of them are remodeled and are actually pretty big ,there is no gun violence or anything like that ,and I feel pretty safe walking around in the complex ,most people that live there are friendly it all depends on your additude towards them ,but that is the same anywhere you go !!good luck on your hunt for a place here on maui it's not cheap you know!!

Forget it! This is the worst condo complex on Maui! No!!!!!!
Called affectionately "Harbor Fights",because of so many police calls.Police thought to relocate there!
These units were all foreclosed upon. Have marshallese, pacific islanders, don't pay, screw everything up daily...NO, NO, NO!!

Plus you smell the bad harbor also daily from wind. There is nothing good about it,tenants on welfare. Anyone who bought there, was cursed.

Harbor Lights is a good and safe place to live. They have a 24hr.security staffs on duty. The people who lives on this property are mostly home owners to there units which is nice.Every one who lives here are such nice people includeing the staff workers who keeps the property very nice.So if any one fills that Harbor Lights is not a safe place or may be you heard from some one else, that it's not a good place period then i suggest you find out for your self. It's not what you think it is.
